If you’re looking for a stunning PNW wedding venue, Alderbrook really can’t be beat. Kelly and Nick had the perfect backdrop to their wedding day, and the joy and celebration of them becoming husband and wife was perfectly complimented by the picturesque surroundings. These two swimmers turned love birds enjoyed a day full of love, laughter and lots of dancing for a wedding day they’ll never forget!
Nepalese Sherpa Ceremony + Vietnamese Tea Ceremony
We were not prepared for the amount of beauty and emotion that would take place during the first day of Mingma and James' wedding weekend. The day started with both families meeting each other for a Vietnamese tea ceremony and ended with an emotion filled Sherpa ceremony in honor of Mingma’s family. It was truly beautiful to witness the amount of joy that came from both sides of these families <3
Traditional American Style Wedding at Lord Hill Farms with a Killer Dance Party
Day two of this emotion-filled weekend took us to Lord Hill Farms out in Snohomish, a gorgeous manor-like farm with a walkable garden that’ll make your jaw drop.
James and Mingma continued stealing sweet looks and endless giggles, culminating in the sweetest exchange of letters and vows. Hearing your favorite person tell you how much they love and adore you is one of our favorite parts of creating weddings films—it gives us chills every time, and James and Mingma’s letters and vows were no exception. Add to that the kindest, most sincere speeches given by James’ mom, brother, and friends and Mingma’s sister and bridesmaid meant everyone laughed, cried, and smiled their way through their fun (so fun!) reception. And one of our favorite parts (that we beg you not to miss!)? Mingma’s stellar choreographed dance she did for James — this girl can dance!
Thank you again, James and Mingma, for letting us be there. For letting us capture these precious moments for you. For letting us laugh and cry and smile along with all of your guests. You two are the best!
Roche Harbor never disappoints, and the fact that this sweet island resort holds a special place in Matt and Brittany's hearts made it that much better. Their giddiness for each other, for this beautiful place, and for the real, raw promises they were SO ready to make made this day exciting for everyone--for their proud parents, their faithful friends, and the crowd of guests who made the trek to Friday Harbor to see it all unfold. Thank you, Brittany and Matt, for letting us capture your perfect wedding day.

Every now and then we get to be a part of a wedding that is so special, we tell ourselves "it's going to be hard to top this one." Anita and Travis' intimate elopement at breathtaking Eagle Falls was one of those special days. From the moment we got off the phone, we knew their day was one we'd be excited and honored to film.
Both Anita and Travis are adventurous, love the outdoors, and knew they wanted to get married somewhere that would speak to that part of their passion. They also knew that they wanted the elopement to be intimate with only three of their dearest friends present to witness the occasion. When the original plan fell through to hike to the top of Mt. Pilchuk at sunrise, I could tell they were a little disappointed. But their adaptability and willingness to trust the amazing Jessi from Echo Photography to choose a new location led us to Eagle Falls, which turned out to be the perfect place for their elopement. They got ready in a beautiful cabin where the sound of the river could be heard and seen from the deck. It was peaceful and, thanks to Anita + Travis, filled with warmth and kindness. I felt like I was on vacation with lifelong friends instead of working.
One of the things that made the day so enjoyable was their complete trust in both Jessi and us to not only choose the First Look location but also the ceremony location. As a videographer, being surrounded by such natural beauty in every direction made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Anita and Travis were amazing to work with and so natural in front of the cameras. They made my job easy.
From the beauty of the surroundings to the relaxing and easy going vibe that Anita and Travis emit, this day will go down as one of my all-time favorites.
